Much happier horse "Mid last year my 7 year old dropped his weight and his behaviour under saddle was uncontrollable and dangerous. He was treated for ulcers by the vet for a month and things started to improve. A few months later the behaviour started to change and his poos runny again so he went on another months treatment and 3 days after finishing successful ulcer treatment with the vet, I put him onto comfort gut to help with his behaviour and weight gain, after reading about it online. Highly recommend this product!
I started my mare on Comfort Gut a few weeks ago due to her being an OTTB and also quite anxious. She would be very touchy when doing up the girth or putting pressure on her withers, and had big problems with separation anxiety. As soon as she was caught and led towards the stable to be groomed before a ride she would start doing nervous poos, and they would continue throughout the grooming and ride. Since being on Comfort Gut this has all settled down remarkably! She no longer does nervous, runny poos and being separated from the other horses doesn't phase her. She's easier to maintain weight on and her coat is gleaming. Over the moon with this product. I was skeptical at first but am so glad I tried it out myself, and am now onto my second, much bigger tub
